The Quiet Desk

I removed the second monitor last winter. Then the desk lamp with the phone charger built into it. Then the small tray of pens I never used.

What is left is a laptop, a notebook, a cup, and a window. It is enough. It is, in fact, more than enough — the room to be bored is where the interesting thoughts begin.
